Aged Vintage - An Open Heart

Inspired by a card found on Pinterest.

Another card we made at Stamp Buffet.  This was one of the favorites.
Soft Sky, Crumb Cake CS.  Crumb Cake, Early Espresso Ink.
I ran the corrugated section through the crimper.

To create the tag:
1. Punch the 2 1/2" x 4 1/4"Soft Sky tag out.  It is wider than the 2" guide opening.
I slid it in over the guides on the Angled Punch, then trimmed the sides to finish the angle.

2. Stamp the Dictionary BG onto the tag with Crumb Cake.

3. Stamp the branch in Early Espresso twice angling them to the left.
Stamp the bird in Early Espresso on the tag.  Stamp another on scrap,
cut out the body and pop it up over the stamped image on the tag, after sponging edges.

4. Punch out a partial circle with the 1 3/8" Circle Punch.
Save that!  It gets popped up on the tag.
Punch out around that opening with the 1 3/4" Circle Punch to create the opening.

5.  Sponge all the edges with Early Espresso.
I lightly sponged the edges of the cut out bird.  This hides where I don't cut evenly.

6. Attach to the crimped 3" x 4 1/4" Crumb Cake piece with Dimensionals.

7.  Tie Linen thread in tag top.
Wrap Linen Thread around whole piece taping to back side.

8. Stamp Soft Sky card base with the Dictionary BG stamp in Crumb Cake.
Attach crimped layer with tag to card base with Dimensionals.

An Open Heart  CM #135002  $17.95
                        WM #134999   $23.95

Happy stamping!
