2-4-6-8 A really fun treat box!

This was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest.

This was one of the projects we made at the Stamp Buffet this month.
It's a full 8.5" x 11" piece of cardstock for the box body. (here Midnight Muse)

1. Using the Simply Scored board and tool, score the 8.5" side at 2", 4", 6", and 8"
2. Flip the cardstock to the 11" side, score at 2" and 9".

3. Cut on the score lines on each of the 2" ends.
Trim away the 1/2" flaps on the 2" ends.

 4. Band:
Cardstock 5.5" x 8.5" (here Raspberry Ripple)
Using the Simply Scoring tool, score the 8.5" side at 2", 4", 6", and 8"

 5. Designer Series Paper 4" x 9.5" (here Birthday Basics)
Using the Simply Scoring tool,
score the 8.5" side at 2 1/8", 4 1/4", 6 3/8", and 8 1/2".

6. Fold and assemble box, placing Sticky Strip Tape on 1/2 flap.

7. Seal one end by overlapping flaps and attaching with Sticky Strip Tape.

 8. Attach 28" of ribbon (here Summer Starfruit) on bottom of box at midway point.

9. Keep all your seams at the same corner on the box, with ribbon tied around box.

Wrap cardstock band around box attach on 2 sides of box with sticky Strip tape.
Place tape on opposite end of 1/2" flap and attach to itself around box.

10. Repeat with Designer Series Paper band.
Placing the dsp evenly over cardstock band.

11. Decorate your box.
I used the Tag It set with 1 3/8" and 1 1/4" circle punches.
ribbon scraps were used to add color.

Happy stamping!
