Snowman Treat for a Snowy Day

Here's a cute treat holder to brighten a snowy day.
Who wouldn't smile at this little guy.
Filled with chocolate, he's perfect to brighten a wintry day.
To make your own snowman, you'll need:
White cardstock
Black 1/2 sheet plus scraps
scrap orange cardstock
15" 1/2" red striped ribbon - if you use a wider ribbon add 3" to the length
white gel pen
Orange marker
1/2", 3/4" circle punches
paper cutter
Simply Scored
1. Trim your White cardstock 8.5" x 10.5".
Score at 3 1/2" x 7 3/4".
Fold on score lines to crease cardstock.
2. Mark at 4" on each side with snowman folded.
Take a "bite" with the 1/2" punch out of each side at the 4" mark.
These spots are to hold the scarf in place.
3. Apply tape to long side and both short sections as shown in picture.
Remove protective. (Yes, it's a different brand I ran out Sticky Strip.)
Fold in left side. line up evenly, adhere at bottom.
Fold in right side, line up evenly, adhere at side and bottom.
4. Attach tape to top front edge of snowman.
5. From a 5.5" x 3.5" cut a 1" strip off the long edge.
Cut the remainder at 3.5" vertically.
 6. Attach 3.5" left shape to sticky strip on front of head.
Apply another piece of tape.
7.  Apply hat band over tape.  Trim if too long.

8. From black scraps punch 5 - 3/4" eyes and button.
For smile punch 5 - 1/2" circles.
Cut a carrot from scrap of orange.  I just winged it.
Draw some lines on with marker for texture.
Attach to face and body as in photo below.
Tie ribbon around body at punched out spots.
Back view.  The treat goes in here!
My M&M bag is an XL bag from a box treat of them.
The bag fit inside better than the box!  You could also do
a Ziploc bag of candy or a giant candy bar inside.
 That's it folks!
Tomorrow the Sale A Bration Blog hop starts!

Happy stamping!
