Top Note Elf Legs

Aren't these cute?
I made up about 90 of these for different sales this past month.
They sure have been a favorite.
We made them at stamp night last month too.
Everyone thought they were fun to make.
Here's how I did it.  I like working with pieces on a fold.
I don't have to line up edges as much.  They're stronger too.
I used My Digital studio to create the pictures.
It's actually a punch shape I used, you'll use the Top Note die, I hope.  :)

I used a full green top note, scored and folded in half.
Punch 2 holes for ribbon on the fold.
Punch out for the legs with the 5 Petal Punch, star punch or Word Window Punch.
Draw the stitching on with a white gel pen.
The ribbon is threaded through the holes and tied inside the top note shape.

The boots are a 1/2 of a red top note cut the length of the top note.
Fold in half, punch out for curved toe.
I attached everything with Sticky strip.
I wanted it to stay attached.
