Technique Tuesday - Poppy Card

As you can tell by the lack of posts life has been busy and chaotic again.
I do have a quick card to share.  We made this card in the SU Stamp Night Class.
It is an easy technique to do with the Baker's Twine.
The background is stamped in Sahara Sand using the new Dictionary BG stamp on white.  The poppy, from Simply Sketched, a hostess set, is stamped in Stazon, then colored with markers (Garden Green, Calypso Coral, Tangerine Tango), and blended with the Blender Pen.
The image layer is attached to the Window Framelit shape and Baker's Twine is wrapped around the corners for an easy frame around the image.  To do this, apply adhesive behind each corner then wrap the the Baker's Twine around the corners pressing it firmly into the adhesive.
This is layered on a piece of Quaterfancy Specialty dsp and another sheet of Calypso Coral.  The dsp is slightly offset on purpose, or so I'm claiming, after seeing it is crooked.  lol
If you don't own the framelits yet, you can do this with a layered square wrapped with the Baker's Twine and layer that on 4 circles.
This card could be used for any occasion, so the greeting gets stamped inside.
Happy stamping!
