Technique Tuesday - Make A Wish - Spring Catalog

My computer is going into the shop for a few days, or weeks, depending what's wrong with it. sigh  I've worked on getting some posts set ahead. I don't want to be a blog slacker anymore.

created by Nancy Brunbridge

This card features the Baby Wipes Technique.
Wear plastic gloves! Otherwise your fingers will be a rainbow of colors.
1. Fold a baby wipe into fourths, load with spots of ink across the folded edge.
Real Red, Tangerine Tango, Tempting Turquoise, and Daffodil Delight used here.
2. Wipe across the Glossy cardstock with the baby wipes.
(The glossy paper is retiring, get it before it's gone!)
You can wipe twice if you miss an area. More than that and the ink gets muddy.
3. Stamp your greeting in Black Stazon ink over Baby Wipe colors.

To create the card:
1. Cut Basic Black card base 5.5" x 8.5".  Score and fold at 4.25".
2. Cut Real Red cardstock 4" x 5.25".  Emboss with Honeycomb embossing folder.
Mount on card base.
3. Trim Baby Wipes piece 1.75" x 3".  Layer on 1 7/8" x 3 1/8" Black cardstock.
Attach to card front with Dimensionals.
Easy peasy!  This is a great guy card too!
Happy stamping!
