Make It Monday - Tool Box - Stair Step Card

We all have those stamp groups who know the basics
and want a WOW card at a workshop. 
Here's one, it's easy after you get the card base cut and scored.
 
Center Stair Step Card


Materials:
4.25" x 11" piece of Real Red cardstock for card base
Simply Scored tool
12” Paper trimmer - with slide cutter not a drop arm
bone folder
scraps Real Red 2" x 4" , white, silver cardstock
Adhesive
Teeny Tiny Wishes greeting set
Retired Totally Tool stamp set
Bravo Burgundy, Black Ink
Assorted markers
Small Oval punch
Modern label punch
sponge
brads

1. Line cardstock up in paper trimmer so that the edge of the card is at the 1" mark.
Position the cutting blade at 1" and cut from 1" to 6.5".
 Turn card over and repeat on same end, other side.
 


2. Place cardstock onto Simply Scored tool and score along the long side
of the card from the edge to the cut line at 1", 2" and 6.5".
3. Repeat step 3 on opposite edge of card.

4. Score between the center cut lines at 5 1/2".

5. Fold at the score lines. The first, third and center score lines are mountain folds. The second score line is a valley fold. Use bone folder to make folds crisp.

6. Sponge edges with Bravo Burgundy or a dark neutral ink.

 Tool box:
7. Cut four boxes for drawers. 1" x 2"
Sponge edges with Bravo Burgundy or a dark neutral ink.

8. Punch 2 small oval shapes. Cut in half for handles.
Attach to drawer fronts at top edge.

9.Stamp, color, and cut out an assortment of tools.
Attach to drawers. Hang from side panels using brads.
I also attached the hanging tools with adhesive.

10. Attach drawers to center panel with Dimensionals.

11. Stamp and punch out sentiment with Modern label punch.

Attach to tool box with pop dots.




A great card for a retiring handyman, Dad or Mrs. Fix-it's birthday!
