SAB Blog Hop How Tos

Sale A Bration starts tomorrow.  Have we wet your appetite for these products?  So many great ideas.

On the first card I created a template to be able to punch the openings evenly.  I did this card for a swap so had to create 15 of them.  I wanted them as similar as possible.  :)  Make sure it is a different color so see where the openings are.  Align the template with the front edge on the white layer.  Line up your punch and punch through the openings.

If you'd like to make this card, here are the measurements.
Red card base 5.5" x 8. 5"
White layer 3.75" x 5"
dsp 1.5" x 5"
6.5" length of ribbon
Pearls
Pretty Petites Stamp Set - SAB free item
Petite Curly Label punch - SAB free item

This card is an easy card.

This is what I did to create this tag.

Using the Hearts A Flutter framelits cut one tag.
Flip it 180 degrees, attach to framelit with a Post It.
Easy and a fun element for a card.

The treats were so much so much fun!  I wanted to make something with the 1" bags and jelly beans.
I cut assorted size hearts with the Hearts Collection Framelits for the head, body, feet and hands.  The feet are one heart cut in half. Where there are red hearts there are 2 back to back.  It adds strength to the Man O' Hearts.

The bags are the filled 2/3's full.  I left 1.5" - 2" at the top to be able
to insert the bags inside the heart layers.

To create the arms I cut a piece of Real Red CS 1.5" x 4"
Score every 1/2",  cut in half the long way.
Fold on all score lines.  Attach inside heart layers.  Attach small hearts for hands.

I embossed the white body heart with the Polka Dot folder.
The mouth and heart on the Pretty Petites shape are Pink Pirouette.
They are the small Heart punch.

The Accordion folded Heart Pixie Stix treat can be found here.  She has a great tutorial for creating this.  If you are going to make several of the hearts, try scoring a large sheet.  12" x whatever length for the number of hearts you are creating.  It was very hard to score the 2" X 12" strip I used.
I placed 3 Dimensionals in the center of the circle to wrap the heart around.  It worked really well.  I placed a line of Tombow Mono Multi Liquid glue on the circle and held the folded shape in place around the Dimensionals.  It took a bit to set up, but held once it did.

The other 2 treats are just layered punches.  some are texturized.  I love the fun colors of the Sixlet treat,It was inspired by a swap from Leadership.  The M & M treat on the far right, has several punch shapes layered over hearts and a banner form Hearts A Flutter.

Thanks for hopping along with us.
Happy stamping!
