Joy Fold card how tos

1. Cut your base cardstock 4 1/4” x 8 1/2”. Score at 5 1/2”
(Not Quite Navy piece)
2. Cut one piece cardstock 4” x 5 1/4” and a second piece 4” x 2 3/4” (Baja Breeze pieces)   Emboss them, layering left ends together, one on top the other, with Chevron Folder.  The Chevron pattern lines up on the card. These are the type of things that bother me. lol

3. Cut one piece 3” x 8”. Score at 4”. Fold in half.
(Wild Wasabi layer).
Adhere your Baja Breeze pieces, then layer the folded Wild Wasabi in the center of your large inside piece.
You won't have the image on there. Just the Wild Wasabi layer.
This is the finished card.

4. Cut a 2 ¾” x 3 ¾” piece to layer inside the folded Wild Wasabi. (W. White)
5. Cut a 2 ¾” x 3 ¾” piece to layer on the front of the folded Wild Wasabi. (Daffodil Delight)

6. Cut a 2 ½” x 3 ½” piece of Bashful Blue. Do not attach it yet!

7. Stamp the Zepplin centered, on the Bashful Blue layer. I drew lines down from the basket, with the Not Quite Navy marker, to hang the banner with. Stamp the Zepplin again with Not Quite Navy ink on a scrap of W. White.
7a. Cut the Zepplin out of the white scrap. Layer it over the image stamped on Bashful Blue with Dimensionals. I did not cut out the propeller or basket from the image stamped on W. White.

8. Use the large Scallop Oval Punch to punch out some pieces for clouds. They don’t have to be full punch shapes. Attach to Bashful Blue layer as shown in photo. Trim off excess “cloud”.

9. Color in flags on Zepplin. ( I used Regal Rose, Daffodil Delight, Certainly Celery, Perfect Plum for the rope they hang from.)

10. Stamp Happy Birthday on a scrap strip of W. White 3/8” or ½” wide. Do faux stitching along sides, with Perfect Plum. Trim ends of banner. Attach with a Dimensional.

11. Attach finished Bashful Blue layer to Daffodil Delight layer on card.
This would make a great baby card. We need a "Bringing you a new delivery" stamp.   We could make it in MDS too. After all, that stork gets pretty tired.

Happy stamping!
