Making a Nest

For once this one is all mine.  lol
I love pink and brown together. This card could be used to welcome a new family
to the neighborhood, welcome a new baby, or even for Newlyweds.

Look close to see the embossing on the card.  I cut the Blushing Bride layer
5.5" x 3.75".  Place the folder word side up along the top edge, run through the Big Shot.  Then turn your cs and place the folder, word side up again, along the bottom edge, and run through the Big Shot again.   Such a  great way to create
a framed area on a card.

The punched Whisper White strip goes all the way across the card but the ribbon ends just under the Chocolate Chip layer.  It worked great as the stamped layer sits right over the ribbon ends with Dimensionals.  It's just too expensive to hide that much of the ribbon.  :)  I used Sticky Strip to attach the ribbon to the card.

I colored the nest with Crumb Cake, then highlighted the twigs
with Soft Suede.  This gives the nest more dimension.  A very sweet card.

Stamp set: Hostess set Up In The Air Occasion Mini 2012
CS: Chocolate Chip, Blushing Bride, W. White
Ink: Crumb Cake. Soft Suede, Pear Pizazz
Blushing Bride 3/8" Pleated Satin Ribbon
Lace Ribbon border punch

Happy stamping!

Love it! What a great idea on the "framing"
