Sesame Street Birthday, Invitation, and Thank You cards

I just read through all the comments and no you're never too old to have a Sesame Street birthday party. My son is 30 this next summer but he already said no Big Bird at his party.  lol  It was all rather easy and if you did a bit at a time you could have a great party for anyone.  Thank you for all the nice comments.  I just love to share my creativity.  I used to plan parties a lifetime ago, so I had a bit of an edge.
Enjoy!

The Punch Art

The birthday card is a Peaks and Valley card.  It is also called a Tri Shutter card.
A tutorial for this type of card can be found here.

Scallop Circle Cards
Cookie Monster is the invitation and Elmo is the thank you card.

The Invitation and Thank you notes follow the party theme.  I created the faces of the characters by cutting a scallop circle card with the Big Shot and the Scallop Circle die.  Place the folded edge 5 scallops below the edge of the circle.

This gives you a circle card that opens.

Inside view:
This is my son on his first birthday.  He opens a present today with just as much concentration.  :)  The words for inside Cookie Monster are from My Digital Studio.  I punched a bite out with the scallop punch.  I stamped a baby hand print inside the thank you card using Baby prints from the Occasion Mini Catalog.  A photo is a great rememberance of the party.  It could be of the birthday child with the guest during the party or of the birthday child playing with the gift afterwards.

When I made these I also created a Big Bird card.
