The Cards From Think Pink! Fight BC!

These are the cards stampers got to make Saturday at the fundraiser event.
All created with the Strength and Hope set from Stampin' Up!.

First up an easy card using a Beautiful Butterflies die cut.
I embossed the butterfly die cut in the Elegant Lines Folder.
The single stamp Fine Flourishes was used on the white panel.

A Banner card that uses the Faux Mother of Pearl technique on the image piece.
I used the Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint for the pearl effect.  Sponge/rub
Baja Breeze over that and stamp the butterfly in Pacific Point.

This card was inspired by a card created by Monika Davis.  I stamped the butterfly over the words on the circle.  No cutting out those wings for me!
The thumping method is used (with markers)to add colors to the wings.
I punched an opening in the card front, then used that circle attached
with temporary tape to punch the center of the scallop circle out.
To dye ribbon to colors we don't carry: For 6" of ribbon, place 5 drops of water and one of ink into a  snack size Ziploc bag.  Multiple this for every additional
6 inches you need.  Squish and mash watered ink into ribbon.  Hang to dry.
Do not wipe water/color off as it will alter the final color.

This card uses the Faux Silk technique.  You stamp on the cardstock them
apply glue stick over that.  Crumple your tissue, smooth out over the cardstock.  Done this way it gives it a much softer look.  I stamped the words in Early Espresso to make the colors (Blushing Bride, Soft Suede) look that much softer under the tissue.

This card uses both the Masking and Emboss Resist techniques.
I embossed the butterfly in white them sponged over it with Pretty in Pink.
I used a 4" x 5.25" piece of cardstock die cut with the 3" Circle die.

Those are the highlights!  Enjoy!
Happy stamping!
