Cards for Babies

I love making these bib cards with the Big Shot.
To dress them up I added the Build a Bear die cuts this time.
Place the folded cardstock on the BigZ Scallop die so 7 bumps show above the fold of the card.  This way you have a place to punch the neck opening and keep the card whole.  Punch out the neck with the large oval punch or the 1 3/4" Circle punch.  The front can be layered with scallops and circle or just circles.Decorate anyway you'd like.  You can stamp on the center circle or add a die cut as I did on these.

This card I bought at a stamp sale last year.  It would be great for a new baby,
a christening, or even a 1st Communion.  It was soooo easy.

Cut cardstock 4.25" x 11". Fold in half.

Cut around the pattern I drew by tracing this dress. Cut out.
Punch the edges with the scallop punch. You can pierce the holes above each scallop.
We didn't do this in class and it was fine.
Punch out the neck with the 13/8" Circle Punch.
Emboss only front layer in Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots Folder.
Attach rhinestones of your choice. These were cute flowers, but I couldn't find them around here.
Tie white 1/8 Inch Taffeta Ribbon around the front layer of the card.
Stamp your sentiment inside with a Soft Subtle ink or Crumb Cake.
The Black ink is just too dark for this card.
You can color the SU rhinestones with Sharpie markers to have colored rhinestones.

Happy stamping!

Love these! That dress is super adorable! I've done a lot of onesie cards, but haven't done the bib cards yet.
