More Basket Stuffers

Do you realize Easter is only 25 days away?
I sure hope spring gets here first!

I got a bunch of lip gloss on sale recently, and created these cute packaging ideas for them. I'll have these at the Stamp and Scrap sale this Saturday also.

How tos:
For the tube style lip gloss.
Die cut 2 of the medium butterflies.  One of cardstock and one of vellum.
Emboss the vellum with the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
I found a neat trick for these.  If you only need one or 2 things embossed, Place your paper inside and run over the folder with a rolling pin or large canned good item.  It does the trick, and you don't have to pull out the Big Shot!

Layer them, fold in half with the vellum butterfly to the outside.
Punch a hole through all layers for the ribbon you are using.  The wider the ribbon, the larger the hole needs to be, so the butterfly wings don't tear.
Thread the ribbon through while still folded in half.

Open flat.
Tie ribbon around lip gloss.  You can also use a glue dot to hold the tube in place. Place that down before tying.

Bag then up, and they are ready to go.

I also got some pots of lip gloss.  I die cut some of the Fun Flowers layers, using a Demensional I attached the pots in the center of the flower shapes.  I then added a 1" circle (already embossed with the dots) on the top of the pots.
I added a little butterfly from the Beautiful Wings Embosslit and they are set to go!

A sign of spring!  lol  I am so tired of snow.
Happy stamping!

Hi Kim! Sorry i haven't left you a comment in a while...been super busy with hubby but have been reading your posts. Love this project, TFS. I stocked up on lip gloss last week and will be making a bunch of these this weekend. Spring MUST be just around the corner. Can't wait to open the windows and enjoy the warm breezes!
