Day 6 Valentine A Day

Here's a cute tag card for your Valentine.
It could go on a gift or be tucked into a lunch bag.

It is a 3" x 3" card.

For the base: Scallops #2 die, Chocolate Chip or Early Espresso cardstock.  Fold a 3.5"x 6" piece of cardstock in half.  Place on larger scallop circle.
Leave 3-4 scallops uncovered at the fold edge of the cardstock.
Cut out using the Big Shot.
I used the 5 Petal punch tip to punch out 2 spots at the top of the head.  Otherwise he was haivng a flat hair day.  lol

For the face you'll need:
1 3/4" circle punch Crumb Cake
3 - 3/4" circle punches Crumb Cake
2 - 1/2" white circle punches
2 - 1/4" circles - I used the Crop A Dile to punch these out.
1 medium heart from the heart to Heart punch
Black or Espresso marker
White Gel pen

To create the face:
Draw your mouth.  Attach 1 3/4" circle to base.
Layer on the heart and Crumb Cake eye circles.
Layer the black 1/4" circles on the white 1/2" circles.
Layer on the Crumb Cake 3/4" circles.
Cut the last 3/4" Crumb Cake circle in half and attach for ears.
Use the gel pen to high light the nose and pupils of the eyes.

Inside view:  I typed the greeting on the computer, printed it out and punched it out with the 2 1/2" Circle punch.

Here is another punch art card I played around with today.  It is 3" x 3".  The characters are mounted on 1 1/4" squares on a 2 3/4" black background.  I used the largest shape on the Boho Blossoms punch for the heads.  The bird's beak is part of a heart from the Heart to heart punch.

A fun card but lots of little pieces!

Happy Stamping!
