Sale A Bration Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin' Addicts Sale A Bration Blog Hop,
each blog will be featuring different products from the free items
available to you when you place an order during Sale-A-Bration.

If you are traveling forward in the blog hop you just came from Sarah's blog.
The projects she made with the Sweet Summer stamp set are just adorable!

I will be showcasing the stamp set Bliss,
another of the select sets in the SAB mini catalog.
I chose to do technique cards for my projects on this blog hop.

*************************************
The first card is a Baby Wipes Technique Card.

So fun!  It's an easy technique.  I'll share the how tos on Monday
for all the techniques shown here today.  You definitely need to wear
protective gloves for this technique, otherwise you'll dye your fingertips
to match your card!  lol
*************************************

The second card is a Versamark Resist technique card.
Another easy fun card.  I used the Beveled Windowpanes
for an added wow on the card.

*************************************

The third card is a split negative card.

I embossed the same images with black and white Embossing Powder.
Then layered them to create the image. I love this Trinket Crown charm.
My friend Holly sent this to me in a birthday gift. I used a safety pin
from the Vintage Trinkets Accents & Elements to attach it to the ribbon.

*************************************

My last project is a handcrafted notebook and pen.  The notebook is
made from scratch.  I used the ribbon to hold the pages in.
I used distressing techniques to get a vintage look for this project.
I just couldn't find a pen that looked vintage!

*************************************
Don't forget to check back after the weekend for
the how-tos on the different techniques.

Next on the blog hop is Heidi's blog
The projects she made with the Homemade single stamp are fantastic!
Another stamp set from the limited list of sets available
from the Big Idea Book and Catalog.

In case you didn't know, Stampin' Up! will be letting you pick from a limited list (on the last page of the SAB brochure) of stamp sets from the Big Idea Book and Catalog. There are also 6 wow offerings (stamps, buttons, ribbon, and paper) in the SAB brochure available only through March 31st, 2011.
I hope you enjoyed seeing the projects made with the products that you can get free with a $50.00 purchase during Sale-A- Bration. Contact your demo to find out how.

Happy Stamping!

How fun, to show off this set with all the different techniques--my favorite's the split negative.

And you know what you could pair with that gorgeous vintage notebook? One of those raw wood pencils. . . just run your hobby knife up and down it a couple of times, and you could say you whittled it!

Seriously, great projects, Kim!
