Holiday Mini Blog Hop

Another great blog hop by Stampin' Addicts members! We are each featuring a different new product from the Holiday Mini Catalog that is available for ordering September 1st. I think this is the best mini catalog we have offered yet.

It provides product for every level of stamper and then some. I tried to show that any style of stamping can be done with the many products offered in this mini.

If you are traveling forward in the blog hop you just came from Amy's blog,
A New Song.  Don't you just love what she did with that cool new die?  I am
excited to have this die as well as the new fabric product.  After all, my nickname isn't Stitcher for nothing!

For my projects I am using the stamp set Bright Christmas.
A set of 3 phrases to help you decorate for the holiday season.

Vintage Christmas Theme
Using the stencils and daubers I decorated 2 of the 3 card fronts in this grouping with dye inks.  I also used the new Tasteful Trim BigZ XL die to cut the rick rack on the center card, and the bubble trim on the far right card.  Amy will have more about that at the next blog stop.  The center embellishment is a strip of die cut fabric on the far right card.  The fabric matches the designer paper from the mini.    For the Victorian Cracker I used the new Waffle paper, embellishments, and the Deck the Halls DSP.
I used to make these all the time for Christmas.  The kids really loved them.

Traditional Christmas theme
Something cute to put your treats in!  A new die to cut these fun boxes.  Rhonda has many more ideas for them on her blog in the hop.  I figured out how to make them longer.  I'll post that on Monday.  I tried out the different greens for accenting Real Red.  Using the wheel Jolly Jingles helped create a background paper too.

Retro Christmas
This was fun.  I thought of all those glass ornament I love so much.  Our new Glass Glitter and Tinsel Trim worked well with this theme.  The glitter is attached to the cone with Sticky Strip.  I created the cones out of 1/2 of an 8" circle.  The ribbon is stamped with the phrase Winter Wonderland using craft ink, then heat setting it.  The beads and snowflake dangles are just some stuff I had on hand.

Hope you enjoyed the projects.

Don't forget to check back Monday for the how tos on the different projects I created.  Next on the blog hop is Adriana's blog.  Escape 2 Stamp. She will be showing you projects made with the Vintage Frames Decor Stencils.

Happy Stamping!

Kim, I LOVE those stenciled cards! (Naturally, since the stencils was one of the few things I didn't pre-order!) Can't wait to see how you made the candy boxes longer (that die being about the only other thing I haven't ordered, as well - lol).
