Blog Hop Cupcake Notes

The box is created with 2 scallop envelope die cuts.  Attach the sides by overlapping the flaps and securing with Sticky Strip. Trim the bottom flaps some, then attach to each other.  I sponged all the edges and the flap with Crumb Cake ink.  Tie a ribbon around the box top edge before securing flaps to box sides.  Tie a longer length of ribbon onto each side to create the handle.

The cupcake on the front is one of the scallop circles from the BS die Scallops #2.  I hand cut it, to shape the cupcake frosting.  Then I applied teeny dots of Crystal Effects and covered then with Dazzling Diamonds.  Lay flat to dry or they will drip toward the bottom.  The cupcake paper is a scrap of Crumb Cake, crimped and sponged.  I then cut it to width to fit the frosting.  It is rather tall so I could tape the 2 pieces together.  Attach to box with Dimensionals.
The cards inside are 3" x 3".  I ran them through the Big Shot using the Square Lattice Impression Folder.  The image on the front is stamped in Crumb Cake colored in with Pretty in Pink.  Punch image out with Modern Label Punch.  Layer on Pretty in Pink Wide Oval over a 1 3/4" White Circle.  Attach with Sticky Strip or Dimensionals.  Tie a length of ribbon around card at fold.  
The box holds 4 cards and envelopes.
