Vintage Fun Frames

Here is a card I cased off Pinterest.  A lovely soft color palette.
I switched out the flowers used as I didn't have the stamp set she used.
A little sponging, some punch work, a bit of ribbon, and a lovely result!

Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper Card Set

I needed some cards for my downline,
and they were suppose to be mailed a week ago! Yikes!
I used the full sheet picture image from the Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper
and cut it into 6 pieces.  I wish I'd cut some off the top and bottom edges instead
of just the top edge. It could have used less stems on some of the panels.
I had a dish of loose butterflies that I used up on these too.
A few pearls and, 6 quick cards were finished.

Watercolored Tulips

So where have I been for weeks?  Well I had a bug that morphed into something wicked.
That took away 2 weeks of my life I'll never get back.  I hate being sick.
It left me with migraines and vertigo issues.  The room spun round worse than a carousel.
I also got my taxes done and sent off.  That's the latest I've ever done them.
Something off the better get it done list!  lol
I was also working on sorting, thinning, and pricing all the stamping supplies I decided to get rid of.
LOTS of stuff.  I filled my whole van when I loaded the bins and boxes up, to take to the sale in Neenah.
I came home with 5 large empty Rubbermaid tubs and 2 empty case boxes.  Happy dancing here!
There is another Rubber Stamp Rummage sale April 26, at the VFW hall here in Howard off Hwy 41.
I'm hoping to get rid of a lot more stuff.  I need this house cleared out, I am a pack rat!
Especially when it comes to crafting supplies.

I do have new projects to share.  I have the projects done for this month's stamp buffet.
Here is the Art Tag.  I used Work of Art.  It's the width of the Tag Punch.  Measures 2" x about 6".
It's watercolor paper dampened, and stamped, and stamped again after it's dry.

A bit of ribbon, a little lace trim, a button and twine.   I love it.
I cleared the old bark out of one of the flower beds today, I had to be careful the tulips
are up about 5" already!  I can't wait to see all the blooms!  Yeah, it's spring!
Happy stamping!

Bunny Berry Basket BigZ Die

I created the basket with the brown mid weight chipboard/tagboard
that comes in some of our packaging.
You could also make these with the white tagboard from our designer series paper.
Use a glue stick and attached dsp to the white tagboard before cutting it out.
One 12" x12" sheet is enough for one basket.
You run the die through twice.  It can be hard to turn the mid weight chipboard through.
I didn't add the handles.
The bunny is a bunch of punch shapes.
You'll need:
3 - 2.5" circle punch - Whisper White
2 - 1" circle punch - Whisper White
2 - Jumbo Oval punch - Whisper White
2 - Large Oval punch - Pink Pirouette
2 - 1/2" circle punch - Black
1. face
Place a Pink candy dots (or a brad) on center of one 2.5" circle shape.
Draw whiskers outward from candy dot.
Attach eyes above whiskers with glue dots.
Draw freckles on 1" circles.
Attach 1" circles to face with Dimesionals.
2. ears
Attach pink ear centers on white Jumbo Oval punch.
Attach ears to back of the circle with the face on it.
3. assemble
Attach 2nd circle to the back side, at the bottom of face circle.
Attach 3rd circle (place adhesive all around edges) to back of face circle.
It hides the ears, and makes it stronger.
Attach inside basket with Sticky Strip.
4. grass
Use the fringe scissors to create grass.  Cut into 2 - 4 1/8" x 11 strip.
Attach in basket over bunny.
5. ribbon
The bow is ribbon wrapped around the basket
and attached with Sticky Strip on the back and front sides.
The greeting is from For Peeps' Sake - Occasion Catalog.
Color with markers, punch out with Scallop Oval punch.
Attach with a Dimensional to basket.
Happy stamping!

Celebrate Today - Ballon Set - Shaker card

Easy, Peasy, Shaker card.
I got this card in the QC swap.
No more foam spacers!
It's so easy you could make it in your sleep!
swap card
I added the In Color Sequins to mine.
1. Cut Whisper White cardstock 3.75" x 4".  Stamp your desired image.
Stamp with the 3.75" being the width of your card.
2. Take one 4" x 6 Cello bag. (Page 200 in the Big Book.  #102757 50 ct for $4.50)
Slid your stamped cardstock into the cello bag. The 4" is the width of the bag.  It's a snug fit.
Oops, forgot a picture before the confetti!
Using the Star Confetti punch, some the pieces are from the blue layer.
Some are from scraps, some are In Color sequins.
3. Turn it over, hold it open, and put your "confetti" onto the clear bag.
Tilt so it slides to the bottom.
By adding your confetti after the stamped image is inside,
you don't end up with stuff on the back side.
4. Fold remainder of bag to the back and attach with Sticky Strip.
Oops again, bad balloon image o the back!  lol
Shaker card from a cello bag.
No more foam pieces with corners that leak confetti!
Now just finish off your card as you choose.
Happy stamping!

Pocket card - Berry Basket Die

I am finding so many fun things to make with the Berry basket die on Pinterest.
This was so cute I had to offer it to my Stamp Buffet attendees.
This is a card with the pocket made from the berry basket.
Cut one basket with a folded sheet of cardstock.
Line it just above the score line for side of the basket.
How it turns out.
Attach one piece of trim around this.
You can staple or use Sticky Strip for this.
The short flap get folded behind the front and attached with Sticky strip tape.
I put white contact paper over my dies.
I can easily see where to put my cardstock.
I also ran it through the Big Shot with the Woodgrain embossing folder.
It is wide enough to hold a seed packet or a candy treat!
My class attendees had 2 choices for the card decoration, Easter or spring.

Happy stamping!
