Sealed With Love

Another swap card.

Created with the Sealed With Love bundle.  I love photopolymer sets
as I can put the images together to stamp just once.  Which is nice when making 20+ cards!

I put the kiss and greeting together on a block. This made it quick
to stamp the ovals I had cut out.  Half a doily, a bit of Baker's Twine,
a few strips of paper and my Valentine was done.
There is matching designer paper.  I do love how all of SU's products coordinate.

Inside view.  A cute row of hearts!

Check out the new Occasion and Sale-A-Bration projects!

I decided to throw my hat in the ring,
and enter the Display Stamper contest for Stampin' UP!
I need to show my best work and need 3 cards, 1 scrapbook page, and 2 3D items.
It is open to all Stampin' Up! demonstrators and ends today January 6th, 2017.

My 3 cards are:
Delicate Details, a Sale-A-Bration set.
I created a wedding cake with lace edge details.
I know you saw this yesterday but it is a cool card, I had to include it.

A close up of the mini pearls on the lace.
I like how the stamped image almost looks 3D.  That's Sahara sand ink!

The 2nd card is a rockin' 50th birthday card created with the Birthday Blast bundle.
This bundle has stamps and this cool star burst edgelit.
I love how the Large Numbers fit into the Star Burst for a specific birthday.
21, or 16, or even 11 would also work!

I love the Perfect Mix stamp set.  Who am I kidding I love all the stamps!
I want to create a memory book with the recipes from my all my Grandmas.
This will be perfect for that!  This card turned out with a nice retro vibe.

My scrapbook page.  Josh's 5th birthday.
I again used the Birthday Blast bundle to create a fun, happy page.
That winning smile of his doesn't hurt either.
You can see more of the stamped images from the stamp set on here.
This is a must have bundle!

My 3D items are a Valentine Treat bag.
I used the gift bag punch board to create the bag.
I used the Sealed with Love bundle for this project.
It has cute little envelopes, all kinds of hearts, both in the stamp set and the framelits.
I used a tag as the base for the front decoration.  I ran it through twice with
the square Stitched Framelits to get the edge on the tag.  I hand cut the top edge.

This last project is my favorite and I can use it all year long!
It is a Birthday Book.  I used 6 of the Pretty Pocket cards from the kit.

Each insert gets used on both sides to write down birthdays.
Each side is one month.
Inside.  I used the Labeler Alphabet set to stamp January.
I need to invest in the Project Life set with the months!
The script in that set is much prettier.

So that's my entry.  Wish me luck!  I think it would be fun to get to stamp samples!
I'll put these on the blog again with more details soon.
I'd like to try my hand at a video for the Pretty Pocket Kit Birthday Book.
We'll see how that goes.  Right now I have no voice, as I have a cold!

Okay, off to clean the stamp room up after all this creating.
I made a mess! lol

Happy stamping!

The new catalogs start today January 4th!

You're going to love the new catalogs!
New catalogs mean swap time for me!
Here is one group of swaps I created.

This card uses the Sale A Bration set, Delicate Details.
I used a lace image (it's all lace!) as an edge on the wedding cake.

The greeting is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.
The folder on the base card is the Fiesta folder.
A piece of the new Sending Love 3/8" White Grosgrain ribbon
is at the bottom of the cake layers.

Inside!

Happy New Year!

I am so happy to see the calendar roll over into 2017!
The last year was filled with hiccups, road bumps,
and stuff I'd rather not have gone thru.  lol
I feel I am stronger for having gone through some of it.
I am so happy to see a new year!

So with everything on a better path and a healthier me.  I want to get back to blogging.
I have a box of goodies for the NEW Occasion Catalog and Sale-A-Bration catalogs,
and want to share so much with you!  These catalogs start January 4th.

If you haven't gotten your own copies to drool over,
let me know and I can mail them out to you!

Here's a card I created with the new Dragonfly Dreams Stamp Set.
I was so excited to see this set in the catalog, I love dragonflies.

I used our background stamp Watercolor Wash for a background.
I inked the background stamp with markers, then spritzed with water
to soften the stamped image.
I stamped over this with a dot stamp in the Dragonfly stamp set.
The Dragonfly was inked in the Rock N Roll method then stamped directly on the card.
There are matching framelits for this set!!!
A few Rich Regal Enamel shapes, a little Linen thread, finished the card.

FYI:  The year end clearance sale is wrapping up.
The Holiday catalog ends January 3rd.

Just a quick note, the nerve regeneration part of my recovery is kicking my butt.  Like having a lightening storm in my chest  The Dr did warn me it would be bad.  I sleep all the time.  Today, Friday was the first day I did anything beyond, shower, food, and the dog.  So some of you have cards coming and I have posts to post, so hang in there, life will get back to normal again.

A quick card we did for Stamp Buffet last month.

I love the Cookie Cutter sets and punch.

Treat Displays and mini bats!

Thank you for all your kind thoughts, prayers sent, comments, and emails.
I had surgery for my shoulder, collar bone issue.  Too many details to share here.
Just want to say I am speeding through recovery faster than even my doctor expected.
Positive attitude is 80% of recovery!

I own so many cool things, I either do not use them, or can not find them.
Even though I have been decluttering for 2 years, I have way too much stuff yet!
So I have vowed to start using the things I love anyway I can.
For my upline's team meeting I made a bunch of little treats to share with the attendees.
I showcased them on this tiered flower stand.  I made treats for Fall, Halloween and Christmas.
I'll share details over the next week about all of them.
I showed the Fall sour cream containers here.

These little bats are quick and cute to make.

Materials:
for one bat - Black cardstock - 1" x 3 1/4", 2" scrap for circle
White Stampin' Chalk Marker
Googly Eyes
1 3/4" Circle Punch
3/4" Circle Punch

1. Wrap a Hershey Nugget with a piece of 1" x 3 1/4"  black cardstock.
Use Sticky Strip adhesive to keep in place.

2. I attached 2 googly eyes (retired SU products but are at craft stores in other sizes)
that had adhesive on the back already.

3. Draw a fang smile with the White Stampin' Chalk Marker.

4. Punch a 1 3/4" circle and cut in half.  Layer the halves together.
Punch along the straight edge with  3/4" circle punch to create the wing edge.
Attach to back of nugget , overlapping tips of wings slightly.

Happy stamping!

Fun Treats!

Sour cream containers are so easy to make.
I created these from a quarter sheet of vellum cardstock.
I made up over a dozen of these in just an hour for a Team Meeting.
Inside are a Milkyway Carmel Apple mini bar and Hershey Kisses.

I used extra leaves I had leftover from another project.
I used up scraps of Champagne Glitter paper for the acorn caps.
The greeting is part of the Acorny Thank You Photopolymer Stamp Set.

If you'd like to make some, there's a great tutorial here at Splitcoaststampers site.

Sheltering Tree - background technique

Hi all!
Sorry I dropped off the net, I had minor surgery,
and an event at my Upline's that I was making things for.
I was going to be so good and post everyday.  lol
I should have known, life would get in the way!
This way, those of you behind on emails, can catch up!  :)

Here's a card we cased from Lisa Young for Stamp Buffet.

We created the background using a block, markers, and water.
I had this sheet for laying under the clear block.

We then colored over the areas with Markers.
Spritzed it really well, with water, and stamped it on Very Vanilla cardstock.
After it dried a bit, we then stamped the tree, 2 layers of leaves, and the ground.
I had them start with a quarter sheet of cardstock, then trim it down to 3" x 4".

Happy stamping!
